An art meme is similar to a written meme: those quizzes that circulate around – you fill them out and then tag other people to do them. Except in an art meme your answers are drawings (I suppose you could use photos or collage or something too). They’re silly and fun, but also a decent artistic exercise.

Jasmin and I like to do little creative projects on weekends, like drawing or sewing. Since it’s Groundhog Day today I thought I’d make a Groundhog-related activity for us to do, so I put together a groundhog day art meme. We’re going to work on it today, and I’ll try to scan the finished product in and put it up here tonight or tomorrow.

Here is the blank meme if you’d like to try it yourself. There is no right way to do it, and it doesn’t matter if you suck at art.
