Wow, I didn’t expect to PR by that much on this WOD. I was halfway through the first round of cleans when some guys started shouting that one of my weights was going to fall off. Sure enough, the dinky 10# bumper on my left was just a few inches from the end of the bar. I had to drop what I was doing and put some collars on (I hate collars). Two reps into the next set of cleans I realized that the collar I used on the left was a piece of junk and had to stop and change it out. Like I said, I don’t know how I could have wasted all that time with equipment malfunctions and still PR, but I did. Being pissed off must give me more stamina.
